gladisn't

To give something an ism could be seen as an attempt to coat it in a kind of intellectual froth. However, to be glad merely is, and any attempt to ally it with a movement simply devalues it's gladness.

Neither will i attempt to tell you that gladness comes from the heart, the streets, or the.... (you can get it from Birds Confectioners on beeston high road but that, is another story...)

I can't confirm that gladness is a 'way of life', though it might be possible, i might be prepared to endorse glad as a 'state of mind', but i wouldn't want you to think that i was a glad boy, even though i might be.

The Lords of Beeston refer to items as gladis (gladys) or gladisn't (gladisne). A deeper investigation into the lavish tongues of beeston can be found in Pater Nostra's 'The Chattering Classes' (Brown & Windsor 1963) (glossary)
